Bio

Casey Chrietzberg returned to her alma mater as head softball coach in June 2016.

A 2008 Huntingdon graduate with a B.A. in Education, Chrietzberg was a two-year player for the Hawks' softball program and spent four seasons as an assistant coach. She spent the past three seasons as an assistant coach at Emory University.

During her three seasons at Emory, Chrietzberg was part of a staff that helped lead the Eagles to a 119-26 record, three Super Regionals and the NCAA Division III National Tournament in 2016.

As an assistant coach at Huntingdon from 2010-2013, Chrietzberg helped Huntingdon compile an overall record of 101-64 and a 50-10 record in the Great South Athletic Conference. The Hawks reached the NCAA Division III Regional for the first time in 2012.

In her final three seasons, Huntingdon won one GSAC tournament title and finished as the GSAC tournament runner-up twice. As Huntingdon's pitching coach, Chrietzberg helped the Hawks produce the GSAC Pitcher of the Year in each of those three seasons.

As a player, Chrietzberg was an All-Conference and Academic All-Conference selection and started in 74 games during the 2007 and 2008 seasons. Prior to Huntingdon, Chrietzberg played for Bevill State Community College in Alabama.

A Wetumpka native, she played high school softball at Edgewood Academy and was part of two Alabama Independent School Association state championship teams.
