Third-year Hawks earn second win of the season

MOUNT PLEASANT, S.C. – The Huntingdon beach volleyball team faced two Division II opponents on the final day of the College of Charleston Invitational Tournament on Sunday.

The Hawks fell to Texas A&M-Kingsville 5-0 and beat Carson-Newman 4-1.

In the Hawks' match with Carson-Newman, the No. 2 team of Nichole LeFevre-Addison Genard won in three games 17-21, 21-10, 15-6. The No. 3 team of Amy Tyma-Lexie DeVuyst won 21-15, 21-13. The No. 4 team of Shelby McAllister-Kaitlyn Carter won 21-14, 21-14. The No. 5 team of Alexis Creasman-April Reese won 21-16, 21-17
