FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. – The Huntingdon baseball team fell to Methodist 11-1 on Saturday in the second game of a USA South Athletic Conference series
The Hawks (19-15, 8-8 USA South) and Monarchs (18-14, 9-8 USA South) will wrap up the series on Sunday at 11 a.m. Central.
Anthony Spivey hit a solo home run in the fourth inning for the Hawks' lone run. Patrick Kucera, Alec Raley and Mason Throneberry accounted for Huntingdon's other three hits.
Zack Watson (4-5) took the loss in 2 1/3 innings.
