Friday’s baseball game with Maryville postponed to Saturday

MONTGOMERY, Ala. – The Huntingdon baseball team's series opener with Maryville was postponed from Friday night to Saturday due to the weather.

The two teams will now play a doubleheader on Saturday at Posey Field. The first game is set for 2 p.m. with the second game to follow. Weather permitting, Game 3 of the series will be played on Sunday at noon.

The weather has also impacted the men's and women's golf teams' first event of the spring. Both teams were scheduled to play in the Callaway Gardens Invitational, with the women playing on Friday and Saturday and the men playing on Monday and Tuesday.

Due to the forecast and the condition of the course, the men's tournament has been canceled completely. The first round of the women's tournament was rained out on Friday but the women are scheduled to play on Saturday.
