LAGRANGE, Ga. – The Huntingdon baseball team's run in the conference tournament ended with a loss to Greensboro.
After knocking off the No. 1 and No. 2 seeds on Friday, the Hawks came up short in a 15-4 loss to the Pride on Saturday.
Greensboro took control with seven runs in the third inning and four runs in the fifth inning.
Will Cosby, Garrett Breland and Heath Haskins combined for six of the Hawks' seven hits. Cosby had two hits, two runs and an RBI, Breland had two hits and two RBIs and Haskins had two hits and a run. Wes Powell scored one run and Nick Swisher had one RBI.
Ryan Smith (1-2) took the loss in 2 1/3 innings.
