MONTGOMERY, Ala. – Former Huntingdon All-American catcher Joseph Odom will be with the Seattle Mariners for Opening Day on Friday. Odom was added to the Mariners’ 60-man player pool and added to the team’s three-man taxi squad on Thursday.

FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. – A total of 184 Huntingdon College student-athletes were recognized with the release of the USA South Academic All-Conference team on Wednesday. The student-athletes, representing each of Huntingdon's 18 athletic programs, were among the 1,702 USA South student-athletes named to the team.

Division III Week Student Spotlight – Brooks Freeman

This week is NCAA Division III Week and member institutions across the country are celebrating the ninth-year event. Division III Week, which runs from Monday through Sunday, is intended to recognize the academic and athletic accomplishments as well as the campus leadership and community service efforts of Division III student-athletes. As part of Huntingdon College's participation in Division III Week, 18 student-athletes will be featured this week. Brooks Freeman, Madison Hunt and Tristan Powell are today's featured student-athletes.

FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. – Senior Carden Mellown was chosen as one of the USA South Athletic Conference Athletes of the Week on Monday.   Mellown was named Pitcher of the Week for baseball. This is his second recognition of the spring and the third overall recognition for baseball this spring.

LAGRANGE, Ga. – The Huntingdon baseball team lost both games of a doubleheader to close out a three-game USA South Athletic Conference series at LaGrange on Sunday. After winning the first game of the series 4-0 on Saturday, the Hawks lost 6-3 and 10-3 on Sunday.

Hawks complete conference sweep of Averett

MONTGOMERY, Ala. – The Huntingdon baseball team completed its first conference sweep of the season with a 6-1 win over Averett University on Sunday. The win capped a three-game series with the Cougars. Huntingdon won the first two games 5-0 and 5-4 on Saturday.
