Huntingdon’s White named to D3football.com Team of the Week

MONTGOMERY, Ala. – Huntingdon safety Anthony White was recognized this week by D3football.com for his performance in a 38-14 win over Maryville this past weekend.

This is the second time this season that White has been named to the D3football.com national Team of the Week. White was the only safety named to the team this week.

In the Hawks' win on Saturday, White had one interception, 10 tackles (seven solo) and one tackle for loss.  

With his 10 tackles, White moved into fourth place in the Huntingdon record book and now has 216 career tackles. With 140 career solo tackles, he now ranks third in Huntingdon history.

White leads the USA South and is tied for fifth in Division III with six interceptions this season. The six interceptions are tied for the second most in a season by a Hawk.
