Hawks can’t find an answer for Birmingham-Southern

MONTGOMERY, Ala. – The Huntingdon men's basketball team only trailed by four points at the half on Tuesday, but Birmingham-Southern pulled away in the second half for a 95-70 win.

Trailing 50-45 less than three minutes into the second half, Huntingdon (2-13) couldn't keep pace with the Panthers (10-5). Birmingham-Southern used a 31-11 run during the next 11 minutes to put the game away.

Jerome Davis scored 15 points to lead Huntingdon and Alex Layson added 13 points. Andre Ashley had 11 points and eight rebounds and Raheem Berry finished with 11 points.

Huntingdon plays at North Carolina Wesleyan on Saturday at 1 p.m.
