Huntingdon plays Division I New Orleans in exhibition game

NEW ORLEANS  – The Huntingdon men's basketball team faced an early preseason test on Wednesday night and fell to the University of New Orleans 94-71 in an exhibition game.

The Division I Privateers are coming off a 20-win season and an appearance in the NCAA Tournament.

Huntingdon started strong and only trailed by five points, 27-22, with eight minutes left in the first half. But UNO began to pull away late in the first half.

The Privateers used a 22-5 run in a span of five minutes to build a 49-27 lead and take control. UNO led 50-37 at halftime and maintained a double-digit lead throughout the second half.
