Huntingdon men’s golf finishes 11th in O’Briant-Jensen Memorial

GREENSBORO, N.C. – The Huntingdon men's golf team closed out its fall schedule with a 319 on Tuesday in the final round of the O'Briant-Jensen Memorial.

The 319, along with a 307 on Monday, gave the Hawks a two-round total of 626 and an 11th-place finish. Greensboro won the 17-team tournament with a 597, Guilford College was second at 608 and Hampden-Sydney was third at 609.

Guilford's Nicholas Shedd was the tournament medalist with a 1-over-par 141.

Senior Jamey Lester shot a 77 on Tuesday to lead the Hawks. Lester and senior Rodes Bowers each shot 155 for the tournament. Junior Steven Smith and senior Griffin Just both shot 158 and freshman Will Thrash shot 165.
