DEMOREST, Ga. – The Huntingdon men's lacrosse team opened the final month of its first season with a 13-6 loss to Piedmont on Wednesday. Huntingdon (4-8) scored four goals in the final period but couldn't overcome an 8-2 deficit.
Brandon Sewell and Ryan Rees each had two goals and an assist for the Hawks. Sewell had nine ground balls and Rees finished with eight.
Michael Brunick and Tyler Campbell each scored once and Gavin Carey had an assist.
Huntingdon travels to Berry on Saturday.
