Huntingdon men’s soccer falls in GSAC match with Maryville

MARYVILLE, Tenn.  – Rusty Cowley scored early in the second half to tie the game, but Maryville answered with two late scores to win 3-1 on Saturday.

Cowley and Dallas Thomas each took two shots for the Hawks (2-9-2, 0-1 Great South Athletic Conference). Keeper Jordan Osborne had seven saves for Huntingdon.

"The loss is disappointing but I'm not disappointed in our performance," Huntingdon coach Kevin Ray said. "Maryville has a good team. We know what we have to do to be able to compete at the conference level. We just have to keep working."
