Huntingdon men’s soccer stumbles against Piedmont

MONTGOMERY, Ala. – Dallas Thomas scored early for Huntingdon, but Piedmont rallied to win 2-1 on Saturday.

Thomas scored in the 15th minute but Piedmont (6-7-2, 2-1 Great South Athletic Conference) answered with a Nick Weatherby goal in 23rd minute and another Weatherby goal in the 55th minute.

Thomas took four shots for Huntingdon (3-10-2, 1-2 GSAC) and Rusty Cowley took three shots. Jordan Osborne had three saves for Huntingdon.

The Hawks host Tennessee Temple on Tuesday for Senior Day. The game is scheduled for 3 p.m.
