Huntingdon men’s soccer loses to conference leader Methodist

FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. – The Huntingdon men's soccer team fell to Methodist 3-0 on Sunday.

Methodist (8-6-2), which leads the USA South Athletic Conference with a 6-1-1 record, scored once in the first half and twice early in the second half.

Colton Savage took two shots for Huntingdon (3-11-2, 1-7 USA South), including one shot on goal. Desmond Ibie took one shot on goal and Trevor Byrum took one shot.

Keeper Sebastian Garcia recorded 10 saves for the Hawks.

Huntingdon hosts LaGrange for Senior Day on Wednesday at 4 p.m. The game will be played at Samford Stadium.
