Men’s soccer loses at Covenant

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. – The Huntingdon men's soccer team fell to Covenant 4-0 on Wednesday night.

Covenant (9-4-2, 5-1-1 USA South), which is second in the USA South Athletic Conference standings, scored three goals in the first half and one goal in the first 10 minutes of the second half.

Huntingdon (2-7-4, 1-3-2 USA South) was not credited with a shot during the game.

Huntingdon keeper Alex Brown finished with three saves and four goals allowed in a little more than 53 minutes. Eathan Small played the final 36:58 of the game and recorded three saves.

"We learned a lot of valuable lessons all at once tonight," Huntingdon head coach Matt Williams said. "We'll put this result behind us and find the positives to build on for Saturday's test."

Huntingdon hosts Piedmont at Samford Stadium on Saturday at 1 p.m.
