Huntingdon comes up short at Piedmont

DEMOREST, Ga. – The Huntingdon men's soccer team battled conference opponent Piedmont College in a scoreless game for almost 80 minutes on Saturday, but gave up a goal in the 78th minute and lost 1-0 to the Lions.

Tyler DeJianne led the Hawks (2-6-1, 1-2 USA South) with three shots.

Brendon Van Emelen recorded two shots. Dylan Wier, Zach Dedman and Killian Delmore each took one shot and one shot on goal.

Both teams had three shots on goal.

Goalkeeper Dominique Thomas finished with one goal allowed and two saves.

Huntingdon will host USA South opponent Averett University on October 10 at 2:30 p.m. at Samford Stadium.
