MONTGOMERY, Ala. – The Huntingdon men's soccer team lost to Berry College 7-0 on Wednesday to close out its home schedule for the 2016 season.
Berry (9-7) jumped out to a quick 3-0 lead in the first 13 minutes of play and added its fourth goal in the 27th minute.
Berry took 21 shots and had 16 shots-on-goal while Huntingdon had 10 shots and four shots-on-goal.
Berry scored three second-half goals in just under 10 minutes to close out the game 7-0.
Brendon Van Emelen, Conner Howard, Austin Stacey and Preston Dixon each had one shot-on-goal for the Hawks (2-11-1).
Eathan Small recorded six saves and allowed four goals in just over 58 minutes of play while Dakota Gruzdas recorded three saves and allowed three goals in 31 minutes of play.
Huntingdon travels to Ferrum on Saturday for a conference matchup at 1 p.m.
