Huntingdon men’s tennis improves to 3-0

JACKSON, Miss. – The Huntingdon men's tennis team swept doubles and won four singles matches to knock off Centenary 7-2 on Friday. The Hawks' match with Rust College was postponed due to the weather.

Freshman Bobby Foroughian picked up a three-set win at No. 1 singles and senior Larry Pritchett (No. 4), freshman Trey Pirtle (No. 5) and sophomore Tyler Chaffee (No. 6) won their singles matches in straight-sets.

The teams of Foroughian-Zac Baldwin (No. 1), Pritchett-Tyler Creamer (No. 2) and Pirtle-Chaffee (No. 3) won in doubles.

The Hawks return to action on the road Saturday against Tougaloo and Millsaps.
