Huntingdon men’s tennis improves to 5-0 in USA South

LaGRANGE, Ga. – The Huntingdon men's tennis team rolled past LaGrange 9-0 on Tuesday. The win was the sixth straight for the Hawks and the sixth 9-0 victory this season.

Huntingdon (8-2, 5-0 USA South) is one of two USA South Athletic Conference teams still unbeaten in conference play this season. North Carolina Wesleyan (7-4) leads the conference standings at 7-0.

Bobby Foroughian (No. 1), Sebastian Riveros Florez (No. 2), Zac Baldwin (No. 3), Meyer Schwartzberg (No. 4), Tyler Creamer (No. 5) and Justin McQueen (No. 6) each won in straight sets. Foroughian's win was his ninth of the season at No. 1 and his 20th at No. 1 singles in 25 career dual matches for the Hawks.

In doubles, the No. 1 team of Foroughian-Zac Baldwin improved to 10-0 this season with an 8-2 win. The team of Florez-Schwartzberg won at No. 2 and the team of Creamer-Trey Pirtle won at No. 3.

Huntingdon travels to Covenant for a conference match on Wednesday at 2 p.m.
