Huntingdon men’s tennis earns 9th straight win

TUSKEGEE, Ala. – The Huntingdon men's tennis team completed a season sweep of Division II Tuskegee University with a 7-2 win on Tuesday.

Huntingdon beat the Golden Tigers 9-0 on March 5 to begin the current nine-match winning streak. Tuesday's match was also Huntingdon's sixth straight road match. The Hawks (11-2) close out the regular season with three straight home matches this week.

Bobby Foroughian (No. 1), Meyer Schwartzberg (No. 3), Tyler Creamer (No. 4), Justin McQueen (No. 5) and Trey Pirtle (No. 6) each picked up singles wins in straight sets.

In doubles, the team of Foroughian-Zac Baldwin improved to 12-1 with a win at No. 1 and the team of Creamer-Tyler Chaffee won at No. 3.

Huntingdon hosts Piedmont in a conference match on Wednesday at 3 p.m.
