Men’s tennis opens conference play with 9-0 win

MONTGOMERY, Ala. –The Huntingdon men's tennis team opened conference play on Monday, defeating Ferrum College 9-0.
This was the Hawks' fourth straight win and the third 9-0 win in that span.
In singles play, Bobby Foroughian (No. 1), Sebastian Riveros Florez (No. 2), Meyer Schwartzberg (No. 3), Zac Baldwin (No. 4), Aaron Triplett (No. 5), and Justin McQueen (No. 6) each won in straight sets.
In doubles, the Hawks (4-3, 1-0 USA South) saw similar success, only dropping one game. Baldwin-Foroughian won at No. 1, Schwartzberg-Florez won at No. 2, and Tyler Chaffee-Pirtle won at No. 3.
The Hawks travel to play conference opponent Maryville College on Saturday at 10 a.m.
