Huntingdon improves to 2-0 in USA South

LAGRANGE, Ga. – The Huntingdon men's tennis team picked up its second conference win of the season with a 7-2 win over LaGrange College on Wednesday.

The Hawks (4-1, 2-0 USA South) won two doubles matches and five singles matches.

In doubles, the team of John Jones-Trey Pirtle won at No. 1 and Aaron Triplett-Justin McQueen won at No. 2.

Jones (No. 1), Pirtle (No. 2), McQueen (No. 3) and Triplett (No. 4) each won in singles, as did Ben Marler (No. 5). McQueen, Triplett and Marler won in straight sets.

Huntingdon returns to action at home on March 12 against Maryville.
