Huntingdon wins at Tuskegee, falls at Piedmont

DEMOREST, Ga. -- The Huntingdon men's tennis team played two matches on the road on Friday. The Hawks won 8-1 at Tuskegee University on Friday afternoon before losing 9-0 in a conference match at Piedmont on Friday night.

In the Tuskegee match, Huntingdon won two of the three doubles matches. The No. 2 team of Adam Self and Mark Melchor won 8-5 and the No. 3 team of Trevor Berry and Anjala Chandrasoma won 8-1.

In singles, Bailey Burns (No. 1) won 6-4, 6-1, Self (No. 2) won 6-0, 6-1, Melchor (No. 3) won 6-0, 6-4, Ben Marler (No. 4) won 6-1, 6-0, Chandrasoma (No. 5) won 6-1, 6-2 and Berry (No. 6) won 8-2.

Coming Up: Huntingdon will close its season at Maryville on Sunday.
