Hawks down Rust for third straight win

MONTGOMERY, Ala. -- The men's tennis team beat Rust College 8-1 on Sunday for their third consecutive win of the season.
In singles, Anjala Chandrasoma (No. 1), Carson Sands (No. 2), Clint Robinson (No. 3), Kevaughnte Merrion (No. 5), and Domenic Terrell (No. 6) earned wins for the Hawks. Sands, Robinson, and Merrion each swept their opponents 6-0, 6-0 in their match.
The No. 1 team of Mark Melchor and Charlie Jones won 8-4 in doubles. Sands-Terrell (No. 2) came together to sweep their opponents 8-0. Chandrasoma-Merrion (No. 3) won 8-1.
