MONTGOMERY, Ala. – Huntingdon senior Brooke Meadows will represent her college and her country this month with the USA Athletes International softball team. The USAAI team will travel to Aruba to participate in the Aruba Friendship Series on June 7-14.
Meadows fires third one-hitter in six games to lead Lady Hawks

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – Senior Brooke Meadows carried a no-hitter into the seventh inning as the Huntingdon softball team downed Birmingham-Southern 1-0 in the first game of a doubleheader on Wednesday. The Panthers took the second game 9-0 in five innings as Huntingdon played its reserves.
Huntingdon falls in finals of USA South Softball Tournament

ROCKY MOUNT, N.C. – The Huntingdon softball team took seventh-ranked Piedmont to the limit on Sunday, but the Lady Hawks came up short in the USA South Athletic Conference Tournament championship. Piedmont pushed one run across in Game 1 for a 1-0 win and scored three runs in the bottom of the seventh to win the championship game 5-4.

ROCKY MOUNT, N.C. – Pitcher Brooke Meadows shut down two teams and the Huntingdon batters did the rest as the Lady Hawks picked up two wins during the first day of the USA South Athletic Conference Tournament. Huntingdon beat North Carolina Wesleyan 7-0 in Game 1 and knocked off Greensboro 7-1 in Game 2.
Division III Week Student Spotlight – Jenna Rimensnyder

This week is NCAA Division III Week and member institutions across the country are celebrating the third-year event. Division III Week, which runs from Monday through Sunday, is intended to recognize the academic and athletic accomplishments as well as the campus leadership and community service efforts of Division III student-athletes. As part of Huntingdon College’s participation in Division III Week, five student-athletes will be featured this week. Huntingdon senior Jenna Rimensnyder is today’s featured student-athlete.
Four Huntingdon softball players named All-Conference

FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. – Four Huntingdon softball players were named to the USA South All-Conference softball teams on Wednesday. Designated player Morgan Goshorn and outfielder Ashley Johnson were named first-team All-Conference, pitcher Brooke Meadows was second-team and first baseman Heather McGuirk was third-team.

MONTGOMERY, Ala. – The Huntingdon softball team used strong pitching and two timely home runs to sweep North Carolina Wesleyan on Saturday. The Lady Hawks beat the Battling Bishops 1-0 in Game 1 and 6-2 in Game 2 for their seventh USA South Athletic Conference sweep of the season.

LaGRANGE, Ga. – The Huntingdon softball team picked up its sixth USA South Athletic Conference sweep with a pair of wins against LaGrange on Thursday. Huntingdon took the first game 6-0 and won 7-2 in the second game.

MONTGOMERY, Ala. – The Huntingdon softball team lost both games of a conference doubleheader to 11th-ranked Piedmont on Sunday. The Lady Hawks fell 5-1 in Game 1 and lost 3-0 in Game 2.
Huntingdon softball outscores Covenant 18-1 in USA South sweep

LOOKOUT MOUNTAIN, Ga. – The Huntingdon softball team scored 18 runs in a conference sweep over Covenant on Wednesday. The Lady Hawks won the first game 10-1 in five innings and took the second game 8-0 in six innings. The sweep was the fifth in eight USA South Athletic Conference doubleheaders this season.
Huntingdon softball splits with Averett in conference doubleheader

DANVILLE, Va. – The Huntingdon softball team dropped its first game to Averett University on Sunday but knocked off the Cougars in Game 2 to salvage a split. Averett took the first game of the USA South Athletic Conference doubleheader 11-3 in five innings before the Hawks took the second game 7-4. Huntingdon (15-10, 11-3 USA South) is currently second in the conference standings and Averett (15-7, 9-3 USA South) is third.
