LAGRANGE, Ga. – The Huntingdon women's basketball team traveled to LaGrange and fell 64-55 on Wednesday afternoon.
The Lady Hawks (5-7, 0-4 USA South) got off to a slow start, trailing 19-7 after the first quarter. Huntingdon outscored LaGrange (8-4, 1-1 USA South) 48-45 throughout the remaining three quarters.
Huntingdon's Jenna Dorman and Juliette Harp led all scorers with 14 points apiece. Harp added 11 rebounds while Dorman pulled down eight rebounds and recorded four steals.
Harp recorded her ninth double-double this season and continues to lead the USA South Athletic Conference with 12.2 rebounds per game. Harp is second in the conference with 24 blocks and sixth in scoring, with 14.1 points per game.
Huntingdon hosts Mary Baldwin on Saturday at 2 p.m. in Roland Arena.
