Huntingdon stumbles against Louisiana College

JACKSON, Miss. – The Huntingdon women's basketball team fell to Louisiana College 73-60 on Saturday in the Millsaps Thanksgiving Classic.

The Lady Hawks battled back from a 14-point deficit in the first half and only trailed 52-48 at the end of three quarters. But Louisiana College opened the fourth quarter with a 9-0 run to take a 61-48 lead.

Huntingdon pulled within seven points twice in the final three minutes before the Wildcats pulled ahead to a 13-point lead in the final minute.

Senior Juliette Harp picked up her fourth double-double in four games with 19 points and 14 rebounds. Harp also had three blocks. Junior Alex Lowery added 10 points, seven rebounds and three assists.

Destinee Washington added eight points, Keturah Billen had eight rebounds and seven points and T.I. Duncan finished with six rebounds and seven points. Mia Hudson had a team-high four assists.
