FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. – A total of 119 Huntingdon College student-athletes were recognized with the release of the USA South Academic All-Conference team on Friday. The student-athletes, representing each of Huntingdon's 18 athletic programs, were among the 1,441 USA South student-athletes named to the team.

MONTGOMERY, Ala. – Huntingdon College Director of Athletics Eric Levanda announced the hiring of Courtney Harville as the athletic department’s Director of Operations on Thursday.

MONTGOMERY, Ala. – Senior T.I. Duncan was recognized as an All-Region performer by D3hoops.com on Monday. Duncan was named third-team All-South Region. She is just the third Huntingdon women’s basketball player to earn All-Region honors in the 18 seasons D3hoops.com has selected All-Region teams. Pat Pickens was a second-team selection in 2015 and Juliette Harp was a second-team selection last season.

DEMOREST, Ga. – The Huntingdon women’s basketball team fell behind early and never recovered in the USA South Athletic Conference Tournament semifinals on Saturday. The Lady Hawks could not find an answer for Piedmont in a 68-53 loss.

GREENSBORO, N.C. – The Huntingdon women’s basketball team took the next step on Saturday. In their sixth season in the USA South Athletic Conference, the Lady Hawks advanced to the conference tournament semifinals for the first time with a 57-47 win over Greensboro College.

FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. – Huntingdon senior T.I. Duncan and junior Shaonica Thomas were both recognized by the USA South Athletic Conference on Thursday with the release of the women’s basketball All-Conference awards. Duncan was named first-team All-Conference and first-team West Division and Thomas was a second-team West Division selection. Duncan was also named to the All-Sportsmanship team.

Shaonica Thomas had 22 points, eight rebounds and three blocks in Wednesday's 85-72 win over Covenant in the opening round of the USA South Tournament.

Lady Hawks tie program record with 20th win of the season

BEREA, Ky. – The Huntingdon women’s basketball team matched its NCAA-era record for wins in a season with a 73-66 win over Berea College on Saturday. The win was the 20th of the season for the Lady Hawks (20-4, 13-3 USA South), and matched the win total set during the 2016-17 season. The win also extended the program’s NCAA-era record overall winning streak (10 games) and road winning streak (12 games).

MONTGOMERY, Ala. – The Huntingdon College women’s basketball program will continue under the direction of a familiar face. Former player and assistant coach Paige Huff will continue as the Lady Hawks’ head coach. Huff, who was named interim head coach at the beginning of this season, was officially named the new head coach this week. President J. Cameron West and athletic director Mike Turk made the announcement on Thursday.

DEMOREST, Ga. – The Huntingdon women’s basketball team used a big first half to take control and beat Piedmont 75-59 on Saturday. The victory pushed Huntingdon’s overall winning streak to eight games and the Lady Hawks’ winning streak on the road to 11 games. Both streaks are NCAA-era records for the program.
