USA South releases Academic All-Conference selections

FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. – A total of 184 Huntingdon College student-athletes were recognized with the release of the USA South Academic All-Conference team on Wednesday. The student-athletes, representing each of Huntingdon's 18 athletic programs, were among the 1,702 USA South student-athletes named to the team.

Division III Week Student Spotlight – Sidney Ison

This week is NCAA Division III Week and member institutions across the country are celebrating the ninth-year event. Division III Week, which runs from Monday through Sunday, is intended to recognize the academic and athletic accomplishments as well as the campus leadership and community service efforts of Division III student-athletes. As part of Huntingdon College's participation in Division III Week, 18 student-athletes will be featured this week. Sidney Ison, Charvez' Hobson and Mary Stanley are today's featured student-athletes.

RALEIGH, N.C. – The Huntingdon women’s basketball team made a late push but lost to William Peace 72-61 on Saturday in the quarterfinals of the USA South Athletic Conference Tournament.
Thomas recognized with release of All-Conference awards

FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. – Huntingdon senior Shaonica Thomas was recognized by the USA South Athletic Conference on Thursday with the release of the women’s basketball All-Conference awards. Thomas was named first-team West Division. This is the second straight season Thomas has been recognized by the USA South. She was a second-team West Division selection last season.

USA South Women's Hoops Teams Set to #BlockOutCancer

The women's basketball season within the USA South Athletic Conference is well underway and fierce battles with championship dreams are taking place in gyms across the League's six states. A battle which is being fought outside of the sports arena is one by Greensboro College Women's Basketball Head Coach Randy Tuggle against pancreatic cancer. In support of a member of its women's basketball family, the USA South has invited each team in the Conference to designate one of its remaining home games as a Pancreatic Cancer Awareness event in support of Coach Tuggle and his battle to #BlockOutCancer.
