Huntingdon women’s golf tied for 12th entering final round of BSC Southern Shootout
BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – Junior Ali Hamil shot an 8-over par 78 to lead the Huntingdon women's golf team in the first round of the Birmingham-Southern College Southern Shootout on Sunday.
The Hawks shot 335 and are tied for 12th entering Monday's final round at Oxmoor Valley. Lee University leads the field at 289. Methodist University and Columbus State are tied for second at 299.
Lee University's Geandra Almeida and Shorter University's Lisa Persson are tied for the individual lead. Both shot an even-par 70 on Sunday.
Huntingdon sophomore Saem Hur shot 80 on Sunday and senior Kaitlin Rozof shot 87. Alex Foster shot 90 and Joanne Jeon shot 126 to round out Huntingdon's scores.
