Huntingdon women’s golf places seventh in Piedmont Fall Invitational

CLARKESVILLE, Ga. – The Huntingdon women's golf team slipped two spots during the final round of the Piedmont Fall Invitational.

The Hawks, who were in fifth after the first round, shot 357 at The Orchard Golf & Country Club on Tuesday and finished in seventh with a two-round total of 697. Methodist University won the tournament for a fifth straight year with a 36-hole total of 631.

Piedmont College was second at 640 and Coastal Georgia was third at 657. Piedmont's Katarina Hodge was the individual medalist with a two-round total of 152.

Huntingdon's Saem Hur finished 23rd with a 171. Kaitlin Rozof tied for 24th at 172 and Ali Hamil tied for 28th at 174. Alex Foster shot 180. Rozof had Huntingdon's best round on Tuesday with an 87.

The Hawks compete again on Sept. 25, playing host to Birmingham-Southern at Lagoon Park.
