Huntingdon women’s golf tied for 10th in Rome News-Tribune Invitational
ROME, Ga. – The Huntingdon women's golf team got off to rough start in the Rome News-Tribune Invitational on Monday.
The Lady Hawks shot 361 in the first round at Coosa Country Club and are tied for 10th with Oglethorpe. Lee University leads the field at 309 and Shorter University is second at 312.
Lee's Courtney Shelton and Shorter's Lisa Persson are tied for the individual lead at 2-over-par 74.
Saem Hur led Huntingdon with an 88. Ali Hamil and Alex Foster both shot 89. Kaitlin Rozof finished with a 95.
The tournament, which is hosted by Berry College, will conclude on Tuesday.
