Huntingdon women’s golf finishes 6th in Piedmont Fall Invitational
CLARKESVILLE, Ga. – The Huntingdon women's golf team shaved four strokes off its first-round total and finished sixth in the Piedmont Fall Invitational on Tuesday. The Lady Hawks shot 353 on Tuesday at the Orchard Golf & Country Club and finished with a two-round total of 710.
Methodist University won the team title with a score of 606 and the Methodist B-Team was second at 614. Birmingham-Southern was third at 641, Piedmont was fourth at 649 and Emmanuel College was fifth at 688.
Huntingdon senior Ali Hamil tied for ninth with a 154. Hamil shot a 3-over 75 on Monday and a 79 on Tuesday. Piedmont's Katarina Hodge was the medalist with a 2-over-par 146. Hodge shot a 1-over 73 in each round.
Huntingdon junior Saem Hur finished with a 36-hole total of 173, freshman Sydney Robbins shot 181, freshman Jessie Culey shot 202 and freshman Shay Roberson shot 229.
