Huntingdon women’s golf in 18th after Rd. 1 of Jekyll Island Inv.

JEKYLL ISLAND, Ga. – The Huntingdon women's golf team turned in a first-round total of 377 in the Jekyll Island Collegiate Invitational on Friday.

The Lady Hawks enter Saturday's second round in 18th. Claremont-Mudd-Scripps is in first at 318, Mary Hardin-Baylor is second at 323 and Methodist University is third at 324. Claremont-Mudd-Scripps' Maya Reddy has the individual lead with a 5-over-par 77.

Saem Hur led Huntingdon with an 84 and Ali Hamil shot 88. Sydney Robbins shot 97, Jessie Culey shot 108 and Shay Roberson shot 113.
