Lady Hawks shoot 337 in 2nd round of Golfweek DIII Fall Invitational

DESTIN, Fla. – The Huntingdon women's golf team slipped one spot in the team standings after the second round of the Golfweek Division III Fall Invitational.

Huntingdon shot 337 on Monday to follow a first-round score of 335. The Lady Hawks are 16th at 672 entering Tuesday's final round at the Baytowne Golf Club.

Methodist leads the 17-team tournament at 600, Washington University-St. Louis is second at 608 and Trinity University is third at 622. Methodist's Loretta Giovannettone had the best two-round total at 3-over-par 147. Three players are tied for second at 148.

Freshman LeeAnn Cahoon led Huntingdon with an 81 on Monday. Cahoon and senior Saem Hur are tied at 165 after two rounds. Sophomore Sydney Robbins shot 170 in the first two rounds, freshman Savannah Humber followed at 172 and sophomore Jessie Culey is at 192 entering the final round.
