Lady Hawks finish 7th in Chick-fil-A Collegiate Invitational

ROME, Ga. – The Huntingdon women's golf team closed out the fall season with a seventh-place finish in the Chick-fil-A Collegiate Invitational.

Huntingdon shot 336 on Monday and 338 in the final round Tuesday at Stonebridge Golf Club to finish the tournament with a two-round score of 674. University of the Cumberlands won the 15-team tournament with a score of 609, DePauw University was second at 633 and Trevecca Nazarene University shot 645 to place third.

University of the Cumberlands Liz Stephens was the tournament medalist with 1-over par 145, including a 1-under 71 on Tuesday.

Huntingdon freshman LeeAnn Cahoon shot 78 on Monday and 83 on Tuesday to finish tied for 16th at 161. Senior Saem Hur had Huntingdon's best round on Tuesday with an 80 and finished tied for 22nd at 165.

Freshman Savannah Humber shot 171 for the tournament, freshman Courtney Harville shot 182 and sophomore Sydney Robbins shots 183.
