Lady Hawks in 2nd entering final round of Methodist Invitational

FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. – The Huntingdon women's golf team shot 328 in the first round of the Methodist Spring Invitational on Saturday. Entering Sunday's final round, the Lady Hawks are second in the seven-team field.

Methodist leads the field at 310. Sewanee and Randolph-Macon are tied for third at 345.

Huntingdon sophomore LeeAnn Cahoon shot 80 in the first round and is in seventh. Sewanee's Emily Javadi turned in the best round on Saturday with a 2-over-par 74.

Sophomore Courtney Harville and freshman Kelsey Spivey each shot 82 and are tied for ninth. Sophomore Savannah Humber shot 84 and freshman Lindsey Huff shot 87.
