Cahoon qualifies for Division III Women’s Golf Championships

MONTGOMERY, Ala. – Huntingdon sophomore LeeAnn Cahoon's record-setting season will continue in the NCAA Division III Women's Golf Championships on May 12-15.

Cahoon became the first women's golfer in the seven-year history of the Lady Hawks' program to qualify for the national tournament with the announcement of the field on Monday. The field includes 21 teams and six individuals.

The 72-hole tournament will be held at the El Campeon Golf Course at the Mission Inn Resort & Club in Howey-in-the-Hills, Fla.

Cahoon, who is ranked 14th in Division III, is averaging a Lady Hawks' record 77 per round this season. In 20 rounds since the fall, she has turned in the top four rounds in program history and seven of the Lady Hawks' top 11 rounds.
