HOWEY-IN-THE-HILLS, Fla. – Huntingdon sophomore LeeAnn Cahoon opened the first round of the NCAA Division III Women's Golf Championships with an 85 on Tuesday.

Cahoon, who is the first Lady Hawk to qualify for the national tournament, is tied for 46th out of 110 golfers.

Due to a more than two-hour weather delay, six golfers were unable to complete Round 1 on Tuesday and will complete the final holes Wednesday morning. The second round of the tournament will begin after the completion of Round 1 at El Campeon Golf Course at the Mission Inn Resort & Club.

With three holes to play, Washington University-St. Louis' Olivia Lugar leads the field at even-par. The University of Redlands' Amberlynn Dorsey and Mary Hardin-Baylor's McKenzie Ralston completed the first round and are tied for second at 2-over 74.

The University of the Redlands leads the 21-team field at 314.
