Huntingdon women’s lacrosse loses at Ferrum

FERRUM, Va. – The Huntingdon women's lacrosse team couldn't find an answer for Ferrum in a 17-6 loss on Thursday.

First-year Huntingdon (4-4) only trailed by three goals with two minutes to play in the first half. But the Panthers (8-3) scored twice in the final two minutes of the half and four times in the first 10 minutes of the second half to pull away.

Briana Gress scored four goals and had four draw controls for Huntingdon. Jamie Reschke scored two goals and had an assist.

Goalie Alexis McDonald recorded 21 saves.

Huntingdon plays at Meredith on Saturday at 11 a.m.
