FERRUM, Va. – The second-year Huntingdon women's lacrosse team fell to Ferrum College 15-4 on Monday.
Ferrum (5-3, 3-1 USA South), the preseason favorite in the USA South Athletic Conference, scored the first 10 goals of the game and led 13-1 at the half.
Kalyn Spatol scored two goals for Huntingdon (3-5, 1-3 USA South) and Jen Price and Lonnitria Keenan each scored one goal.
Goalie Alexis McDonald had three saves for the Lady Hawks.
Huntingdon was scheduled to play at Birmingham-Southern on Wednesday, but the game has been postponed.
