Women’s lacrosse ends season with loss to Berry

MONTGOMERY, Ala. – The Huntingdon women's lacrosse team closed out its season with a 16-11 loss to Berry College on Tuesday night.

Huntingdon (1-14) played Berry (9-6) evenly early and only trailed 5-4 with 13:20 left in the first half. But the Vikings pulled ahead late in the first half, led 8-4 at halftime and built an 11-5 lead in the first six minutes of the second half.

Jamie Reschke scored three goals and had three ground balls for Huntingdon. Lonnitria Keenan had two goals, two assists, two caused turnovers and three ground balls, Jen Price followed with two goals and an assist and Shannen O'Leary added two goals, four draw controls and four ground balls.

Candace Williams finished with a goal, four draw controls, three ground balls and two caused turnovers and Briana Gress had one goal.

Goalie Victoria Krupa finished with seven saves and 16 goals allowed.
