Huntingdon loses to five-time defending conference champion Meredith

RALEIGH, N.C. – The Huntingdon women's lacrosse team lost to Meredith College 18-1 on Sunday.

The Avenging Angels (6-0, 4-0 USA South) have won five straight conference tournament championships.

Shelby Martin scored Huntingdon's goal and Vanessa Maldonado had two draw controls. Kaylee Andrews and Morgan Pelfrey each had two caused turnovers. Goalie Morgan Coppini had six saves, five ground balls, two caused turnovers and 18 goals allowed in 60 minutes.
