MONTGOMERY, Ala. – The Huntingdon women's lacrosse team lost to Piedmont 14-4 on Friday.
Vanessa Maldonado scored one goal and had one assist and Shelby Martin, Sam Blount and Kaylee Andrews each scored one goal. Martin also had four draw controls and two caused turnovers and Savannah Ryan had two assists.
Shelby Blair had three draw controls and two caused turnovers, Hannah Parks had three ground balls and two caused turnovers and Alex Teague had three ground balls.
Goalie Morgan Coppini finished with 14 saves, 14 goals allowed and four ground balls in 60 minutes.
