Huntingdon closes out regular season with loss to Shorter

MONTGOMERY, Ala. -- The Huntingdon wrestling team closed out its regular season as part of Senior Day, falling to Division II opponent Shorter University 39-15.

Senior Brandon Abejon (141 pounds), who was honored before the match on Sunday, won by decision, 3-0.

DeAndre Beck (149) followed Abejon with a 6-3 win. Ryan Brooks (125) won by forfeit.

Huntingdon will travel to Iowa to wrestle in the Central Regional on Feb. 27 and 28.
