REYNOLDS’ GOAL LIFTS HUNTINGDON WOMEN’S SOCCER TEAM IN DOUBLE OVERTIME

MONTGOMERY, Ala. – Freshman Katlyn Reynolds scored with 25 second left in the second overtime to give the Huntingdon women's soccer team a 1-0 win over Clearwater Christian on Saturday.

"We showed ourselves that we can finish the game," head coach Wes Anania said. "Whether it's in the first 90 minutes or down to the final seconds, we're learning what it takes. It was good to see such a strong effort for the full 110 minutes."

The goal was Reynolds' third of the season. Jaden Rountree had the assist. Keeper Jenny Burnash had four saves.

Huntingdon (2-1) hosts Faulkner University on Wednesday at 4 p.m.
