Lady Hawks soccer loses at Birmingham-Southern

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – The Huntingdon women's soccer team fell to Birmingham-Southern 7-0 on Tuesday night.

Birmingham-Southern (4-1) scored three goals in the first 25 minutes of the game to take control and scored four goals in the second half, including three goals in the final 10 minutes.

Clara Zubrick and Clara Tapplin accounted for Huntingdon's two shots, with Zubrick taking one shot on goal.

Keeper Katie Bonner had 10 saves and four goals allowed for Huntingdon (1-3) and Brittany Houseman had five saves and three goals allowed.

The Lady Hawks host Judson on Thursday at 2 p.m. at the Huntingdon soccer field.
