Women’s soccer can’t hold off Ferrum

MONTGOMERY, Ala. – The Huntingdon women's soccer team lost to Ferrum College 2-0 on Saturday in their first USA South Athletic Conference game of the season.

Freshman goalkeeper Leah Leach recorded eight saves and allowed two goals for Huntingdon (2-3, 0-1 USA South).

Ferrum (6-0, 1-0 USA South) had a 14-9 shot advantage over the Lady Hawks.

Sophomore's Abi Olmeda and Madi Critcher each had two shots and one shot on goal. Clara Tapplin took two shots.

Kira Bohlke, Shelby Clark and Hanna Cloud all had one shot and one shot on goal.

The Lady Hawks will play William Peace on Sunday at 11 a.m.at Samford Stadium in a USA South matchup.
