Lady Hawks start 3-0 for first time in NCAA era

MARION, Ala. – Freshman Mac Pearson scored three goals to lead the Huntingdon women's soccer team in a 4-1 win over Judson College on Thursday night.

With the win, Huntingdon improves to 3-0. This is the first 3-0 start for the Lady Hawks during the NCAA era.

Freshman Kirstin Hayes scored Huntingdon's other goal, giving the Lady Hawks a 2-0 lead in the first half.

 

Records: Huntingdon (3-0); Judson (0-1)

Notable Performance: Pearson scored her first collegiate goal on an assist from Alexis Louk in the 19th minute of the game to give the Lady Hawks a 1-0 lead. Leading 2-1 in the second half, Pearson added two final goals. Pearson's goal in the 68th minute, on an assist from Meredith Harrison, made it 3-1. Pearson closed the scoring on an assist from Louk in the 80th minute.

Did You Know?: Huntingdon's 3-0 record is its best start since becoming an NCAA program in 2003.
