Huntingdon falls in second half at Rhodes

MEMPHIS, Tenn.  – The Huntingdon women's soccer team gave up two goals in the final 11 minutes and fell to Rhodes College 3-1 on Wednesday.

The Lady Hawks took a 1-0 lead in the first 15 minutes of the game when Meredith Harrison scored on an assist from Mac Pearson. Rhodes tied the game 84 seconds later.

The tie stood until the 79-minute mark when the Lynx took a 2-1 lead. Rhodes closed the scoring in the 87th minute.

Quick Facts: Wednesday's loss snapped a three-game winning streak for the Lady Hawks. In eight games this season, this is just the third time Huntingdon has allowed a goal and the first time the Lady Hawks have allowed more than one goal.
